BLACKPINK’s LISA is gearing up to make history!
On May 9 KST, the 2026 FIFA World Cup announced its lineup of star-studded headliners, revealing that LISA will headline the opening ceremony in the United States alongside Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Rema, and Tyla, making her the first female K-pop artist and Thai act to achieve this milestone.

Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, expressed, “This lineup of artists reflects the cultural diversity of the United States and the vibrancy of its many diasporas, highlighting the nation’s rich influence on music, entertainment, and pop culture, while showcasing the power of music to bring people together across the country.”
This year’s FIFA World Cup will be co-hosted for the first time by three countries — the United States, Canada, and Mexico, across a total of 16 cities.
The opening ceremony in the United States is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on June 12, 90 minutes before kick-off.
