Zico is going solo!
Among recent speculations that Block B leader Zico was planning to go solo, Seven Seasons has cleared the dust and announced that the 26 year old singer-songwriter-producer has decided not to renew his contract and go his own separate way. According to the statement released by the company, Zico and Seven Seasons mutually agreed on ending his exclusive contact and walk their own path.
While Zico is not on-board with Seven Seasons anymore, the rest of the members have renewed their contracts and are currently in talks about their future. The agency has stated that unit and individual activities will be focused more on for the six members – U-Kwon, B-Bomb, Jaehyo, Park Kyung, Taeil and P.O since their enlistment periods differ. Seven Seasons also clarified that while Zico has ended the contract with the company, his future with Block B has not yet been decided.
According to reports, Zico is likely to soon make his comeback as a solo artist and may set up his own one-man company. The rapper has shown his prowess as a producer by creating great hits for his group such as “Very Good”, “Jackpot”, “Toy” and also for many other artists.
We, at Namaste Hallyu, would like to wish Zico and the rest of Block B the very best for their upcoming activities and plans!
