Extraordinary You (2 October)
Extraordinary you also known as a-Roo Found by Chance/Eojjeoda Balgyeonhan Haroo.
An adaptation of webtoon “Eojjeoda Balgyeonhan 7wol” By Moo Ryoo. The story centers around Eun Dan-O (Kim Hye-Yoon) who goes to a prestigious high school with her finace Baek Kyung (Lee Jae-Wook). She also happens to like Baek Kyung a lot but it’s only one sided. Although her family is rich she suffers from a heart disease and doesn’t have much time. Than one day she realises that everyone in the high school including her is a part of a comic book called “Secret” and she is just an extra in it. She sets off to meet her ‘the one’s and break the comic writers story And she does find him. She names him Ha-Roo (Ro Woon).
This drama will witness Kim Hye-Yoon (SKY Castle), Lee Jae-Wook (Search: WWW) and Ro Woon (Member of SF9) as the main lead. It will consist of 32 episodes and will air on MBC ON Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.
This Fantasy Romantic drama reminds a lot of W: Two World. Although those who seem to have read the comic are highly anticipating the drama. This might be the drama u can’t miss this October.
My Country (4 October)
My Country (My Nation/ Nahi Nara) is a Historical drama set during the end of Goryeo period to the start of Joseph period. It tells a story of two friends with different opinion on “My country” which created a conflict between the two. This conflict takes a bad turn after a misunderstanding arises between the two friends.
Seo Hai (Yang Se Jong) deals with all pain with a smile on his face. Although he is a warrior he has a strong sense of justice.
Nam Sun Ho (Woo Do-Hwan) is filled with talent and smartness but his dream to be a part of military services falls apart after a scandal involving his father comes to light.
This drama includes Yang Se Jong (Thirty but Seventeen), Woo Do Haan (The Great Seducer) and Kim Seol Hyun (Member of AOA) at the forefront. It will be available on jTBC and Netflix. It’s schedule for 20 episodes that will air on Friday’s and Saturday’s.
VIP (28 October)
Na Jung-Sun (Jang Na-Ra) who works for a team that deals with VIP customers of a department store along with her husband Park Sung-Joon (Lee Sang-Yoon). The couple faces unexpected case, which causes their lives to fall apart.
This drama seems more dark and mysterious for a Shopping Mall from the trailer. Jang Na-Ra (The last Empress), Lee Sang-Yoon (About Time) along Lee Chung-Ah (Because this is my First Life) have an unexpected and potentially unique story for us. It is set to air on the 28 of October on SBS Network on Monday’s and Tuesday’s for 16 episodes.
Catch the ghost (21 October)
Catch Yoo-Ryung/ Yooryungeul Jabaran is an Romantic comedy Drama.
Yoo Ryeong (Moon Geun-Young) is a detective who is dead set on finding her twin sister who went missing and is autistic. She has a strong sense of justice and has exceptional space perception but often takes rash decisions.
- Her colleague and love interest Go Ji-seok (Kim Seon-ho) is a total opposite of Yoo Ryeong. He helps her and also helps her solving the cases.
This will be Moon Geun-Young’s first drama after Entourage (2016). She will be working alongside Kim Sun Ho (Eulachacha Waikiki 2) and Jung Yoo Jin (Romance is a Bonus Book). It will air on tvN on Monday’s and Tuesday’s for 16 episodes.
