On December 1, EVERGLOW released their 3rd mini-album titled ‘RETURN OF THE GIRL’. The mini-album is led by the title track ‘Pirate’ and the official music video for the track has also been unveiled.
‘Pirate’ is a mix of EDM beats and pop, that is accompanied by a dynamic tempo and is created by OLLIPOP, Hayley, Aitken, Gavin Jones. The track contains the member’s aspirations of being a pirate and starting a new voyage.
Just like the name suggests, the album is intended to empower all the women out there. Especially the title track along with its music video, which relays a strong message that girls rule the world. In this music video, the members can be seen breaking gender stereotypes with them riding bikes and fighting like a warrior.
The track also presents the unique choreography of the track accompanied by the smooth yet impactful moves of the group. The beautiful visuals of every member with a hint of sci-fi elements also elevate the production of the music video. Along with the title track, the album contains four other songs – ‘Back Together’ with its soothing vocals, ‘Company’ with its solid beats and boldness, ‘Don’t Speak’ a funky and fun track and ‘Nighty Night’ with its strong voice and dark-light tempo.
‘RETURN OF THE GIRL’ was released on December 1, and the fans are already loving it all around the globe. The music video for ‘Pirate’ has already garnered 12 million views on YouTube and is climbing steadily. The group also recently won the ‘AAA Best Music Video Award’ in the 2021 Asia Artists Awards.
