Former ‘BOYS II PLANET’ contestants CHUEI LI YU and KANG WOO JIN are gearing up to debut as a duo!
On April 24, FNC Entertainment officially announced that CHUEI LI YU and KANG WOO JIN are preparing to debut as a duo named FLARE U. Along with this announcement, the duo released an official logo trailer film, offering fans a glimpse into the upcoming concept and signaling that their debut is just around the corner. They also launched official social media accounts across multiple platforms and shared several posts on their newly launched accounts.

Additionally, ahead of their formal debut promotion, FLARE U is set to greet their fans at ‘KCON JAPAN 2026’, which will be held from May 8 to 10 at Chiba, Japan.
Earlier in January, it was reported that CHUEI LI YU, KANG WOO JIN, and JANG HANEUM were in talks to form a spin-off group, but JANG HANEUM later dropped out of the lineup for undisclosed reasons.
With their debut drawing near and an international stage already set, FLARE U is expected to make a notable entrance into the music industry.
FLARE U is set to debut in May.
