BTOB‘s lead vocalist, Changsub released his first solo mini album ‘Mark‘ along with the music video for the title track ‘Gone’ on 11th December at 6 pm KST. The album ‘Mark’ just like the name suggests, is an album through which the singer wants to leave his musical colors and traces on the music industry. It consists of 5 tracks in total including the instrumental of the title track.
Changsub took part in writing the lyrics and also composed the title track ‘Gone’, as well as the lyrics of all the songs in the album and also took part in composing some B-side tracks like ‘Way‘, ‘Ever‘, and more, showcasing his wide range of musical abilities as a solo artist.
Title track ‘Gone’ is a pop ballad that combines Changsub’s mournful voice and rising band sounds, making one feel like they are watching a movie. It is a story of a person who wants to leave with someone they love to a far away place which is free of hardships and worries of a dark and lonely world.
The music video for the song features Apink‘s Chorong. The music video is like a message of hope and encouragement to all the aspiring artists and singers who are trying to complete their own music, and fulfill their dreams.
On the other hand, Changsub will be enlisting in the military to finish his mandatory service on 14th January, 2019. He will enlist quietly as an active duty soldier.
This album is a small gift to his fans expressing his love for them before his upcoming enlistment.
