On 28th April 2021, Baekhyun of EXO announced the news that he received Hanteo Chart’s official Chodong certificate. He received 2 certificates – “CERTIFICATE OF 500K” & “CERTIFICATE OF NEW RECORD” for selling over 868,840 copies in its 1st week of release. His 3rd mini-album “Bambi“ made a record by selling over 500,000 copies within the first day of its release.
Baekhyun is officially acknowledged as the record holder in the initial Chodong sales solo artist category. He broke his own record in IC sales among solo artists that he set with his previous album “Delight”.

This record is prestigious as it’s the highest record in both the male solo category as well as among all the solo artists. With this, Baekhyun has ranked his name with the albums “Bambi” and “Delight.” in both 1st and 2nd places in the 1st-week rankings of solo artists. Bambi is the first and only solo album to record over a million sales on Hanteo alone, making it one of the most successful albums of the decade.
