Baby DONT Cry’s Yihyun is all set to kick start her Inkigayo MC role!
On January 5 KST, SBS delighted fans by announcing the much-anticipated news of P NATION’s rookie girl group Baby DONT Cry’s leader, Yihyun, as the new Inkigayo MC. She will be joining the current lineup &TEAM’s EJ and TWS’s Shinyu, completing the trio, following IVE’s Leeseo stepping down from her role after one year and seven months in December 2025.

Sharing her excitement, Yihyun expressed, “I’m really happy and excited to become a music show MC, which I’ve dreamt of even before my debut—through ‘Inkigayo.’ In particular, I first starred in a broadcast through SBS’s ‘Fantastic Duo’ when I was young, so it feels more meaningful to greet everyone as an MC through ‘Inkigayo,’ which is also SBS.”
She further added, “I want to sincerely thank the production team for believing in me and giving me this precious opportunity, and I will take that sense of responsibility to become an MC who delivers enjoyable energy every week to viewers and artists.”
Yihyun has previously showcased impressive skills through her appearances as a special MC for Inkigayo, and now with her appointment, fans are excited to witness the new synergy between the MCs.
Yihyun will be joining the broadcast from January 11.
