ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon is all set to be a torchbearer for the upcoming Winter Olympics!
On January 23 KST, BELIFT LAB confirmed that Sunghoon will participate in the torch relay for the 25th Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
Sunghoon’s participation carries special significance, given his background as a former national reserve figure skater before his debut. In May last year, he was officially appointed promotional ambassador for the Korea Sport & Olympic Committee, a role through which he has actively promoted sports-related public initiatives.
Ahead of the announcement, Sunghoon attended the Korean national team’s send-off ceremony at Olympic Parktel in Seoul, where he delivered messages of encouragement to athletes preparing for the Winter Games.
As part of his ambassadorial activities, Sunghoon has engaged in initiatives highlighting the value of recreational sports and athletic development, making his participation in the Olympic torch relay a meaningful extension of his long-standing connection to sports.
The 25th Milano Cortina Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22 (local time) in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
