ZE:A‘s Kim Dong Jun is making a comeback in the K-Drama world!
Kim Dong Jun’s agency MAJOR9 stated, “Kim Dong Jun will play the lead role in the next KBS 2TV K-drama ‘The Goryeo-Khitan War.” The Goryeo-Khitan War tells the story of King Hyeonjong of Goryeo’s conflict with Khitan and its supreme commander Kang Gam Chan.
King Hyeonjong will be portrayed by Kim Dong Jun. He is the seventh Goryeo King. At the age of 19, he ascended to the throne and immediately encountered many challenges. One of them is Khitan’s invasion of Goryeo. Choi Soo Jong and Ji Seung Hyun, alongside Kim Dong Jun, will also play the drama’s leads.
In July 2021, Kim Dong Jun started his military duty. The idol actor received a formal discharge earlier in January. This will be the grand comeback of Kim Dong Jun after he completed his military service. The Goryeo-Khitan War will be featured as part of KBS’s 50th-anniversary celebration special plan. The Goryeo-Khitan War will air in the second half of this year.
