The two-day festival will bring HYBE’s signature live music experience to India, bringing together K-pop and Indian artists, live performances, fan engagement activities, brand activations, and cultural experiences. For Indian fans, the festival is set to be a landmark event, bringing one of the largest K-pop festival experiences to the country.
Inspired by the immersive fan experiences built around Weverse, HYBE’s global superfan platform, Weverse Con Festival India will go beyond live performances to bring music, interactive fan experiences, and fan culture together in one physical setting. The festival will feature a diverse lineup of Indian and K-pop artists, as well as special collaboration stages that bring artists and cultures together.
The artist lineup and venue details have yet to be announced.
Speaking on bringing Weverse Con Festival to India for the first time, Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE, highlighted the event as a reflection of the company’s commitment to India as a key market for its global growth.
Weverse Con Festival India marks a new chapter in our ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy and reflects our commitment to India as a key market in HYBE’s global growth. By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences. We look forward to bringing fans together to discover a new universe of music and unlock an immersive journey where they can connect, celebrate, and explore new possibilities alongside the artists they love.
– Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO, HYBE
Further, Zooil Yang, President of Weverse Company, added, “We are thrilled to join HYBE to deliver Weverse Con Festival India to one of the world’s most vibrant K-pop fan communities. As a global superfan platform, Weverse serves as the leading hub connecting artists and fans around the world. Through the festival, we are excited to extend our innovative services and fan experiences beyond the screen and into a live setting, seamlessly integrating the online and offline worlds of fandom.”
Weverse Con Festival India will be co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiences division of BookMyShow, with tickets set to be available exclusively through BookMyShow.
The festival is presented by Kia India, Mastercard, Project B, and Samsung, with NONGSHIM joining as an Associate Partner. Mastercard, the festival’s banking partner, will offer its cardholders exclusive access to presale tickets.
The India edition will bring together artists from India’s diverse music scene and some of the world’s most influential K-pop artists, with collaboration stages intended to create new connections between the two music cultures. The festival will also offer fans opportunities to engage with artists and fellow fans throughout the experience.
The India debut is part of HYBE’s wider expansion in the country. Since establishing its presence in India, HYBE INDIA, the company’s strategic global office in the country, has been conducting nationwide auditions to discover and develop local talent, while also working on content production and expanding intellectual property with a focus on creating locally resonant, globally scalable content.
With Weverse Con Festival India, HYBE is bringing one of its biggest global fan-focused music properties to India and, in doing so, taking the festival beyond South Korea for the first time since its launch.
Weverse Con Festival India will take place on March 27–28, 2027, in New Delhi. Further details on the venue, artist lineup, ticket prices, and ticket sale dates are expected to be announced later.
