BTS is set to join the star-studded lineup at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show!
On May 14, FIFA World Cup officially announced that BTS will co-headline the highly anticipated performance alongside global music icons Madonna and Shakira. The event will be held at New York New Jersey Stadium and streamed live for audiences around the world.

A FIFA World Cup first, the Halftime Show is being organized to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which focuses on improving “access to quality education and football soccer for children worldwide.”
Adding to the excitement, Chris Martin from Coldplay will be in charge of curating the show, while beloved characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets will also join the celebration.
Previously, BTS performed at the 2021 Global Citizen LIVE, showcasing their global influence beyond music. BTS member Jungkook also contributed to football history by releasing the track ‘Dreamers’ and performing it live for the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show is scheduled to take place on July 19 at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
