ZICO Makes His Long-Awaited Comeback With ‘Grown Ass Kid’

ZICO’s fourth mini album is officially out!

On July 27, 6 PM KST, ZICO finally released his much-anticipated album titled ‘Grown Ass Kid.’ Ahead of the release of ‘Grown Ass Kid,’ ZICO dropped a music video for his pre-release single ‘Seoul Drift.’ This comeback marks ZICO’s return to the music scene in two years, since his discharge from the military.

The title track for the album is called ‘Freak’ for which the artist has released an intriguing music video. In the MV, he finds himself in the middle of an apocalypse and the entire city is filled with people becoming freaks due to the chaos. The MV also features ‘Our Blues’ actress Noh Yoon Seo. 

The album contains three more tracks created from other genres like pop, hip-hop, and alternative R&B, they are ‘Trash Talk’ featuring CHANGMO, ‘OMZ freestyle,’ and ‘Nocturnal animals’ featuring Zior Park.  

ZICO is a singer, rapper, and music producer under his own label KOZ Entertainment. ZICO is a chart-topping artist who has released many hits like ‘Summer Hate,’ ‘Human,’ ‘Being Left,’ and his superhit track ‘Any Song’ became the most streamed and downloaded track in Korea, in the year 2020.
