ZEROBASEONE is back with their 4th mini album, ‘CINEMA PARADISE’, marking another milestone in their rapidly rising career. The group, consisting of members Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, Park Gun-wook, and Han Yu-jin, dropped their latest release on various music platforms at 6 PM on the August 26, three months since their last release, You Had Me at HELLO.
The title track, GOOD SO BAD, is a fun and energetic electronic synth-pop song that really shows off ZEROBASEONE’s vibrant style. It was crafted by KENZIE, a well-known hitmaker in the industry. The song talks about the ups and downs of loving someone, even when life isn’t easy. Its catchy tune, combined with the group’s lively vocals and raps, gives it a romantic comedy vibe.
The music video for GOOD SO BAD has a special guest appearance by actor Yoo Ji-tae. In the video, he plays a screenwriter working on a sad ending. But instead of sticking to the script, ZEROBASEONE, as the main characters, decide to change their fate and avoid the breakup. The video’s beautiful visuals and engaging story have grabbed a lot of attention, with teasers becoming super popular on YouTube.
CINEMA PARADISE includes seven tracks that reflect how much the group has grown. KILL THE ROMEO offers a new, happier take on the classic Romeo story. SEA is a remake of a summer hit by UP, with ZEROBASEONE adding their own refreshing twist. Insomnia is part of a sleep-themed series that started in their second mini-album, diving deeper into the feeling of restlessness. Road Movie is a special track that all nine members worked on together, sharing their experiences and hopes. The album also features ETERNITY, a song dedicated to their fans, and a Korean version of their Japanese hit YURA YURA, bringing a new flavor to a fan-favorite track.
