Bang Yedam Tops ‘K-Top Star’ Male Idol Rankings Ahead of Comeback With 2nd Mini Album ‘GOOD VIBES’

K-Pop solo artist Bang Yedam has been named the Best Male Idol on the popular global voting platform, ‘KTOPSTAR’. For the fourth week of August, Yedam won the top spot in the ‘Best Idol (Male)’ category, receiving a huge 95.1% of the votes. This is the second week in a row that he has come out on top, showing just how much his popularity is growing in the K-pop world.

Following Bang Yedam were Kang Daniel in second place and BTS’s RM in third. ‘KTOPSTAR’ is a well-known site where fans can vote for their favorite idols in different categories, including male and female idols, new artists, and trot singers.

Yedam made his solo debut last November with a mini-album called ‘ONLY ONE,’ which he produced himself. The album highlighted his skills as both a singer and a producer, and it won him the ‘Asia Star Award’ in the solo singer category at the 2024 Korea Hallyu Entertainment Awards. Recently, Yedam was also chosen as a public relations ambassador for Seoul RCY, showing that he’s a talented artist with many roles.

Fans are really looking forward to Yedam’s next comeback, which will be with his second mini-album, ‘GOOD VIBES.‘ The album will be released on August 29 at 6 p.m. KST (2:30 p.m. IST).
