On August 18 at midnight KST, YG Entertainment overjoyed fans with a new announcement video featuring executive producer Yang Hyun Suk. The video unveiled major updates for TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, and BLACKPINK for the second half of 2025, confirming release dates, comeback plans, and new content that fans can look forward to in the coming months.
Beginning with TREASURE, YG shared details of the group’s upcoming comeback with their third mini-album ‘LOVE PULSE’, scheduled for release on September 1 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), signaling the start of the group’s second act.
‘LOVE PULSE’ will consist of four tracks: ‘EVERYTHING’, a melodic track, ‘PARADISE’, the title track, a vibrant retro disco-funk song, ‘NOW FOREVER’, a nostalgic synth-pop track reminiscent of the late ’70s and ’80s, and ‘BETTER THAN ME’, a mid-tempo groove. All four songs will be rooted in retro-inspired sounds crafted for repeat listening.
Alongside the album, YG revealed that through the group’s world tour ‘PULSE ON’, which will begin in October 2025 and run through May 2026, TREASURE will hold their first-ever stadium concert in Thailand and a dome arena concert in Osaka, with more dates to be gradually added. Yang Hyun Suk expressed confidence in the group’s ability to handle larger venues and hinted at scaling up future concerts if this album performs well.
Following TREASURE, YG shared updates on BABYMONSTER’s comeback. Originally scheduled for release on October 1, the album has now been postponed to October 10 due to Chuseok.
BABYMONSTER will be returning with a mini-album titled ‘WE GO UP’, which will include a title track of the same name showcasing strong hip-hop elements. The title track will be accompanied by two music videos, one conceptual and one performance-focused. The B-side tracks on the album will include ‘PSYCHO’, ‘SUPA DUPA LUV’, and ‘WILD’, with each track offering a fresh concept that will highlight a different side of BABYMONSTER.
In addition to their comeback, YG disclosed that BABYMONSTER will release their first-ever reality program, titled ‘BAEMON HOUSE’, airing in September to entertain fans ahead of the group’s return. Inspired by the success of ‘BLACKPINK HOUSE’, the show has already completed filming and will feature the members living together and enjoying their time as a group.
With ‘WE GO UP’ set to drop on October 10 and more than 80–90% of next year’s music already recorded, fans can look forward to fresh and exciting content from BABYMONSTER.
Finally, YG shared that BLACKPINK is set to return with new music. Although no specific release date has been confirmed yet, the group is aiming to release a mini-album in November. Yang Hyun Suk stated that both the members and producers are working diligently to prepare the album.
Lastly, YG gave fans a little surprise by releasing TREASURE’s raw dance practice for the track ‘EVERYTHING’ from their upcoming album, generating excitement among fans for the comeback.
With BABYMONSTER’s comeback, TREASURE’s comeback and world tour, and BLACKPINK’s return, YG Entertainment is setting the stage for an action-packed end to 2025.
