On January 16, Whee In of MAMAMOO dropped her second mini-album “WHEE,” accompanied by a floral, dreamy music video for the title track “Make Me Happy.”
For WHEE, the artist collaborated with many known names from the industry who have helped in creating beautiful tracks, which are colourful, mystic, and wholesome. Soloist RAVI, head of GROOVL1N and THE L1VE LABEL participated in the composition and lyrics for the tracks, “Make Me Happy,” “Deserve (Interlude),” and “Pastel.”
Whee In worked on the song “Letter Filled with Light” which happens to be a continuation of the song “Springtime” from her first mini-album “REDD.” Springtime incorporates references about the season she was born and in further implies her name, which means shining light. It is a track that is filled with deep emotions and genuineness as she wants to express her affections to her fans.
“Thanks to the love and attention of our Moomoos, my colleagues and I were able to wholeheartedly focus on this project. As much as I’ve laid bare my emotions and thoughts in this album, I hope my voice will reach your hearts and many of you will find the songs relatable. Through my upcoming album promotions, I’ll concentrate on showing the various sides of me. I ask for your continued interest and support!”
