The Academy Australia aka The Academy is back with its annual K-Pop Boot Camp that is scheduled to be held at K-Pop’s capital city, Seoul!
This K-Pop Boot Camp offered by The Academy is a rigorous training program that spans 10 days, taking place between December 9th and December 19th of 2023.
The Boot Camp is eagerly looked forward to owing to its curriculum, which closely resembles the demanding training schedules of major entertainment labels for aspiring idols. Curated and designed in collaboration with their agency partners, the boot camp trains the candidates in dance, vocals, and modeling. The showcase is attended by their agency partners and selected trainees may receive private audition offers.
The entry audition video will be assessed and ranked by a panel of nine agencies, consisting of eight Korean and one Chinese agency. The rankings will be disclosed publicly to all candidates participating in the audition. The labels that are involved, notably their subsidiaries, are home to popular and big names from the Korean entertainment industry including, IU, Seventeen, SF9, Kep1er, Fromis9, The Boyz, TRI.BE, WEi, and Mamamoo. The involved agencies are FNC, WakeOne, Pledis, Kakao Entertainment, TR Entertainment, WD Entertainment, OUI, RBW, and Stardust Entertainment.
The audition is conducted in multiple various global locations and select auditionees also have the opportunity to win a guaranteed spot in the boot camp, depending on popular voting results on YouTube. In addition, they also receive a camp fee sponsorship of $1000!
