NIEL of TEEN TOP is making his long-awaited solo comeback.
After more than a year, NIEL returns to the music scene with his fourth mini-album, ‘SHE’. A departure from his earlier Korean R&B influences, ‘SHE’ explores the rich, velvety soundscape of neo-soul and groove pop, capturing the raw, almost chaotic emotions of love in its many forms. Executive produced by DOKO, one of South Korea’s most acclaimed hitmakers, the mini-album promises a refined yet emotionally immersive experience fans won’t soon forget.
‘SHE’ is more than just a stylistic shift; it’s a reflection of an artist who has truly found his voice, offering emotional depth and artistic maturity.
With lyrics like “I was the one who said goodbye, yet the moment I realized that I was the one truly hurting, waves of regret and longing crashed over me, growing clearer with time. / You were the one whose love changed—so why am I the one left in ruins?” NIEL promises to take listeners on an emotional rollercoaster.
In the lead-up to the release, a string of teasers, concept photos, and promotional content will roll out to heighten excitement. Beyond the album, NIEL is also gearing up for diverse activities in Korea and abroad, including his appearance in the musical ‘6 O’Clock Off Work’, and continued engagement through both online and offline content.
‘SHE’ is also NIEL’s first release under his newly established agency, EL&D Entertainment, marking a powerful new beginning for the vocalist who first stole hearts as TEEN TOP’s main vocal.
This marks NIEL’s first solo release in over a year, following his 2024 single album ‘PARTING EMOTION’. The new mini-album will also be his fourth overall, after previous successes with ‘oNIELy’ (2015), ‘Love Affair…’ (2017), and ‘A to Z’ (2022).
From his debut with TEEN TOP in 2010, delivering hits like ‘No More Perfume On You’, ‘Miss Right’, and ‘Rocking’, to his solo milestones and now the launch of his own agency, NIEL’s journey has been one of constant evolution. With ‘SHE’, he’s not just making a comeback, he’s rewriting his artistic narrative.
‘SHE’ drops on April 22 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST) across all major streaming platforms.
