Sulli To Release First Ever Solo Single + Host New Variety Show

A source from her label SM Entertainment has confirmed that the singer and actress will be releasing her first ever solo single within this month, possibly during the later half of June.

Sulli debuted as a child actress in 2005, debuted as an idol in 2009 as one-fifth of f(x) before leaving the group in 2015 to focus on her acting career. Her decision to return to music has thus been receiving mixed comments although most netizens are purely curious as to what sound Sulli would have as a soloist considering that f(x) were an alternative pop group with a very experimental sound.

Sulli has also been announced as one of the hosts for JTBC‘s new variety show ‘Night of Hate Comments‘, a talk show which will feature celebrities reading out and responding to malicious comments with a new guest featured every week.  The host panel also includes Shin Dong Yup, Kim Sook and Kim Jong Min.
