South Korean actress Lee Seo Yi has passed away at the age of 43.
On July 1, the late actress’s manager shared the heartbreaking news of her passing through her official social media account. Writing on behalf of Lee Seo Yi’s parents, the manager wrote, “A radiant, beautiful, lovely, and kind unnie became a star in the sky on June 20, 2025, so I leave this message here. I know many of you must be shocked and deeply saddened by the news of her passing, but I kindly ask that you pray so that she may go to a good and beautiful place.”
The manager shared her Instagram details and can be contacted directly by those who wish to pay their respects to the late actress.

The circumstances surrounding her passing have not been disclosed.
The tragic news came as a shock to fans and Lee Seo Yi’s colleagues, many of whom have shared heartfelt messages expressing their sorrow.
Lee Seo Yi began her acting career in 2013 with ‘Hur Jun, The Original Story.’ She gained further acclaim through her role in the 2014 drama ‘Cheongdam-dong Scandal.’ Since then, she appeared in various dramas and movies, including ‘Killing Romance,’ ‘The King,’ ‘City of the Sun,’ ‘The Royal Tailor,’ and ‘Scarlet Innocence.’ She was most recently seen in the tvN drama ‘The Divorce Insurance,’ which concluded in May this year.
