On February 20 KST, soloist SORN dropped the official coming-soon post for her upcoming digital single ‘Sharp Objects.’
The upcoming single will mark SORN’s first-ever solo comeback under WILD Entertainment, after departing from girl group CLC and Cube Entertainment. The artist previously dropped the digital single ‘RUN’ in collaboration with WILD Entertainment, back in March 2021.
The new single is a piece of all-English electronic dance music, which also incorporates synth-pop components. The track is expected to keep the energy high for its listeners with its powerful beats and drops. ‘Sharp Objects’ is used as a figure of speech by SORN, to express her feelings about how your deep affection for someone can be alarming, like playing with sharp objects. Through the song, the artist also presents us with courageous lyrics,
“I’m not afraid, I play with sharp objects”
“I can take a papercut with no bandade.”
SORN is a South Korea based Thai artist, who made her debut in 2015 with girl group CLC. The artist also engages fans with popular video content for her TikTok channel which has a following of 2.5M followers and a YouTube channel named “Produsorn” with 732K subscribers. Sorn officially signed with WILD Entertainment, a hybrid management, in December 2021. WILD was founded in 2020 and the agency aims to bridge the gap between the Eastern and Western entertainment industries via many social media spaces.
SORN’s ‘Sharp Objects’ is scheduled for release on various music sites on February 25, 8 AM KST (4:30 AM IST).
