SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan may be starting a new chapter as an actor.
On April 22, media outlets reported that Seungkwan is in talks to appear in the upcoming drama ‘Wed Thurs Fri’ (working title).
Responding to the reports, his agency, PLEDIS Entertainment commented, “Seungkwan is currently in talks to appear in the drama ‘Wed Thurs Fri.’ We are coordinating the detailed schedule.”
‘Wed Thurs Fri’ is a romance drama that follows the story of a chef and a woman closely connected to a restaurant that operates only on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Shin Min Ah is in discussions for the female lead, while Lee Jin Uk has been reported for the male lead role. Yoo Teo is also reportedly part of the cast, though confirmations are still pending.
The drama is being written by Joo Hyun, known for ‘The World of the Married’, and will be directed by Jung Dong Yoon, who is known for ‘Stove League’ and ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’.
If confirmed, this project will mark Seungkwan’s official acting debut, adding a new dimension to his career beyond music and variety shows.
