After reports released stating that Red Velvet’s Joy is currently in talks for JTBC’s upcoming drama “Just One Person,” SM responded, “Joy received a casting offer for the new JTBC drama ‘Just One Person’ and is reviewing [the offer].” The plot is about a terminally ill woman who decided on murdering any one bad guy since she’s dying anyhow. But in the process she meets somebody who becomes the most important person to her. It was previously reported that Ahn Eun Jin and Park Sung Hoon are also in talks for this drama.
If Joy finalizes for this drama, she’ll play the role of Sung Mi Do, a popular influencer with a terminal illness. Also, confirmation of this role will be her first drama after three years. She last appeared in “Tempted.” The filming of “Just One Person” is set to begin in the later part of 2021.
