The Grand Finale of the All India K-POP Contest 2025, organized by the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI), wrapped up on a high note at OP Jindal Auditorium, New Delhi. Celebrating talent, passion, and a shared love for K-pop, the event drew fans from across the country.
The winners of the All India K-POP Contest 2025 included Delhi-based group 3plus4crew, who clinched the top prize in the dance category with their electrifying performance to ‘Super’ by SEVENTEEN. In the vocal category, Shylee Preetam from Hyderabad won first place with a soulful rendition of ‘U & I’ by AILEE. Riniya Taku from Itanagar won the inaugural rap category with her powerful performance of ‘BACK PACKER’ by ZEROBASEONE.
Each first-place winner received ₹2,00,000 and earned a nomination to represent India at the prestigious ‘K-Pop World Festival’ in Changwon, South Korea, later this year.
Bengaluru’s ZYPHER was the first runner-up in dance, Itanagar’s Priyanka Phukon in vocals, and Mumbai’s Mayank Tripathi in rap. All three received ₹1,00,000.
The second runners-up included Pranamrita Monjam in dance, Sruthi Ram Narayan in vocals, and Saanvi Chawla in rap. Each of them was awarded ₹50,000.
Adding to the excitement was a special performance by five-member boy group NOMAD, who lit up the stage with hits like ‘No Pressure’, ‘California Love’, ‘Compare’, and ‘Carnival’. They also held a fanmeeting, where members Sangha, Doy, One, Rivr, and Junho interacted with fans and even spoke a few lines in Hindi.
True to its tagline, “One Beat, One India, Over a Decade of K-pop”, the All India K-POP Contest has been a major force in spreading the Korean Wave (Hallyu) across India. Over the years, it has given young fans a platform to showcase their love for K-pop through music and dance, while also helping K-pop communities grow across the country. What started as a competition has now become a symbol of the deepening cultural connection between Korea and India, with participation increasing every year.
Hwang Il Yong, Director of Korean Cultural Centre India said, “This year marks the 15th edition of the contest. This would not have been possible without the support from Indian fans. As we celebrate over a decade of this incredible journey, the contest stands as a symbol of the deep cultural bond between Korea and India. The love for K-pop and Korean culture in India has constantly been growing and I wish the bond between our two countries goes on to become even stronger.”
The All India K-POP Contest 2025 stands as a testament to the growing influence of Korean culture in India. With excitement already building for next year, this edition has left a lasting mark on the country’s K-pop fandom.
