Here’s a list of all the winners of the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards.
The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards was held on May 13, 2021, at the KINTEX Hall in Ilsan.
The Baeksang Awards is South Korea’s most prestigious awards ceremony instituted by Ilgan Sports and JTBC Plus to honour excellence in South Korea’s film, television and theatre industry. The ceremony was attended by South Korea’s best Actors and was held without an audience due to COVID-19 restrictions for the second time in a row. The award ceremony was broadcasted live on JTBC and TikTok.
Actress Bae Suzy and comedian Shin Dong-yup hosted the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year.
In the television category, the Grand Prize (Daesang) went to Yoo Jae-suk. His MBC variety show, How Do You Play? won the award for Best Variety Show.
The Grand Prize for film was claimed by The Book of Fish, while JTBC’s Beyond Evil won both Best Drama and Best Screenplay, and its lead Shin Ha Kyun took away the award for Best Actor in the television category. Actress Kim So Yeon, won the Best Actress (Television) for her role in the drama, The Penthouse. In the film category, Yoo Ah In and Jeon Jong Seo received top awards for acting in Voice of Silence and The Call, respectively.
The best New Actor and Actress (Television) was won by Lee Do Hyun (18 Again) and Park Ju Hyun (Extracurricular) respectively.
Actor Oh Jung Se (‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’) for the Best Supporting Actor (Television) and Yeom Hye Ran (‘The Uncanny Counter’) won the Best Supporting Actress (Television).

Although there has been controversy surrounding around Actress Seo Ye Ji, the talented actress showed her popularity by winning the TikTok Popularity Award (Actress) for her role in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay while Actor Kim Seon Ho won the same award in the Actor category for his role in Start-Up.
