On January 15, Kim Woojin made an official announcement, sharing the news of his military enlistment and revealing plans to release a special single ahead of his service. He will begin his mandatory military service on January 20.
Kim Woojin shared his enlistment announcement through a video on his official YouTube channel. In the video, he expressed that he had been mentally prepared for this moment, as he always knew it would come. He reassured fans not to worry, promising to return safe and healthy. Woojin also expressed his deep gratitude to his fans, CUBS, for their unwavering support, which has made his 20s fulfilling while encouraging them to stay healthy and patiently wait for his return.
