On May 6, it was reported by Sports Chosun that Kim Sejeong was offered the female lead role for upcoming drama “Office Blind Date” (literal title). Her agency, Jellyfish Entertainment stated, “Kim Sejeong has received an offer to star in ‘Office Blind Date’ and is reviewing it.”
This upcoming drama is a romantic comedy that revolves around an office employee who goes on a blind date with the CEO of her company. She happens to take her friend’s place in this blind date and hides her identity. The story was published as a web novel back in 2017 by author Hae Hwa, and was produced into a webtoon the following year.
It was announced back in 2020 of August that KakaoPage would be adapting “Office Blind Date” into a drama.
If Sejeong takes up the drama, she will play the role of Shin Ha Ri. Ahn Hyo Seop is in talks for the male lead role Kang Tae Mu. Sources further say that Jo Bo Ah is also considering the same role as Sejeong.
Kim Sejeong’s acting career has been moving steadily, especially after her latest hit drama “The Uncanny Counter,” that gave OCN it’s highest ratings.
