The 26th Jeonju International Film Festival, in partnership with the Gachibom Film Festival, has designated May 7 and 8 as Barrier-Free Film Days. During these dates, the festival will host a ‘Special Screening: Barrier-Free Films’ section, showcasing films accessible to all audiences and promoting the values of barrier-free storytelling.
Kim Bo-ra, selected for her long-standing commitment to barrier-free projects, will serve as a moderator for the audience discussions held after screenings at this year’s festival. She has also previously served as an ambassador for the Seoul Barrier-Free Film Festival and lent her voice as a narrator for projects such as ‘The Garden of Stars’ and ‘Finding Sound.’
She began her career as a child actress in 2005 and rose to fame with her breakout role in the hit drama ‘SKY Castle’ (2018). Her recent projects include ‘The Ghost Station’ and ‘Snow White Must Die – Black Out.’
The 26th Jeonju International Film Festival will be held from April 30 to May 9 in Jeonju City, while the 26th Gachibom Film Festival will take place from September 2–5 at Lotte Cinema Yeongdeungpo.
