KBS 2’s new Mon-Tue drama ‘My Fellow Citizens’ has released its second teaser video.
The drama starring Choi Siwon, Lee Yoo Young, Kim Min Jung, Tae In Ho, and more, is a comedy crime drama that revolves around the story of a conman who is married to a police officer, somehow gets caught up in various unplanned incidents, and ends up running to become a member of the National Assembly. It is directed by Kim Jung Hyun and written by Han Jung Hoon.
Siwon will be playing the character of Yang Jeong Kook, a conman born in a family that commits fraud as their family business. The story is based on him trying to earn money to marry his girlfriend for which he decides to scam a loan shark, but ends up getting scammed himself.
Kim Min Jung will be playing the character of Park Hoo Ja, a mysterious woman who runs a private loan business which she inherited from her father. She blackmails Yang Jeong Kook into running for a National Assembly seat, as a revenge for conning her father.
In the new teaser video that was released on 5th March, Yang Jeong Kook is seen introducing himself as a doctor, a lawyer, a businessman, etc in order to con his targets. In one of the scenes, before he can introduce himself, someone else does it for him and whispers “conman”. The next scene shows Yang Jeong Kook tied and there is a mysterious woman who orders him to con someone on her behalf. When asked “who?”, she replies saying, “The citizens”.
A source from the drama revealed, “In the teaser that was released today, the scenes of a conman who can never reject, Choi Siwon and a loan shark who makes a deal with him, Kim Min Jung are shown. Please give it a lot of love and support as the first episode airs on 1st April.”
