The Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) has been successfully hosting the K-POP India Contest since 2012 and has invited special guests for the Finale each year. And this year as well, K-POP fans has a reason to rejoice.
The Korean Cultural Centre India (KCCI) and Pink Box Entertainment has announced Hyolyn as the Special guest for K-POP India Contest 2021- FINAL ROUND. The ‘Dally’ hitmaker will also be performing Live for the fans as well as hosting an Instagram live!
Hyolyn is not just a K-Pop star but also a songwriter, actress known for her unique, strong vocals, performance skills, and stunning visuals and the founder of her current company. Before debuting as a solo artist in 2013 and founding her company BRIDGE, she was the leader and main vocalist of the iconic Girl Group, now disbanded, SISTAR. She has also collaborated with renowned artists like Zico, Mad Clown, Got7, Gray, to name a few. She has also lent her beautiful voice for dramas like ‘My Love from the Star’, ‘Uncontrollably Fond’ and sang the Korean version of ‘Let It Go’ for Disney’s animated film ‘Frozen,’ which received immense success. She is a powerhouse and has seen success both as a Girl Group member as well as a solo artist. Her songs have seen massive success and made its way in local charts like Melon, Bugs, Genie as well international charts like Billboard, Worldwide iTunes Charts and more.
Hyolyn also released a collaborative track, ‘Summer Summer’ with her former member Dasom. The summer queens made sure that their title remained as the song debuted on Bugs’ real-time chart at No. 1 and daily chart at No. 6, on the same day of its release. It also made its way at No. 74 on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and No. 8 on the iTunes Top 100 K-pop Songs Chart.
Hyolyn is a big name and hence, Indian K-POP fans are super excited to hear the news. The artist will greet her fans through an Instagram Live on 20th NOVEMBER at 8:30 PM IST on KCCI’s official Instagram account. HYOLYN will also perform live for an online concert on 21st November at 8 PM IST. Fans can watch it Live on KCCI’s official YouTube channel!
