Jennie presents ‘Ruby’!
On March 7 at midnight KST, BLACKPINK’s Jennie unveiled her highly anticipated first full-length album, ‘Ruby’. The album offers an intimate glimpse into her artistic evolution, blending personal storytelling with a bold and diverse musical approach. It embraces themes of vulnerability, confidence, and emotional depth, presenting a sound and perspective unlike anything she has shared before.
‘Ruby’ is a 15-track album that seamlessly blends various genres and features collaborations with international artists, songwriters, and producers. It opens with ‘Intro: JANE’ featuring FKJ, followed by the title track ‘like JENNIE’, ‘Start a War’, ‘Handlebars’ featuring Dua Lipa, ‘With the IE (Way Up)’, ‘Damn Right’ featuring Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis, ‘F.T.S.’, ‘Filter’, ‘Seoul City’, ‘Starlight’ which features narration by actor Yeo Jin Goo, ‘Twin’ and the pre-released tracks ‘Mantra’, ‘ZEN’, ‘Love Hangover’ featuring Dominic Fike, and ‘ExtraL’ featuring Doechii.
Jennie is credited with both writing and producing tracks on the album, further expanding her artistic identity, making ‘Ruby’ a truly immersive listening experience.
Additionally, the physical edition of the album will feature a Jennie-only audio version, presenting ‘Ruby’ with Jennie’s vocals exclusively, without any featured artists.
To celebrate ‘Ruby’, Jennie is hosting ‘The Ruby Experience’ showcase in Los Angeles on March 6–7, New York on March 10, and Seoul’s Inspire Arena on March 15.
The title track ‘like JENNIE’ MV is scheduled for release on March 7 at 2 PM KST (10:30 AM IST).
