JTBC has confirmed that Im Siwan has been chosen as a lead in the upcoming drama ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ directed by Lee Myung Woo.Im Siwan’s agency, Plum A&C, however responded to the news by saying, “Im Siwan received an offer to star in the new drama ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Im Siwan has been given the role of Jang Byeong Tae, a little and frail youngster residing in Onyang, Asan, Chungcheongnam-do.
‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ is a suspense drama that depicts the lives of students at an agricultural high school in Chungcheong Province with the setting of the mid-late 1980s.
