On September 6th, 2023, HWASA dropped her latest single album, ‘I Love My Body’ after a two-year hiatus since her previous solo release.
The song ‘I Love My Body’ urges the audience to accept and celebrate every aspect of themselves, including those that may be considered unconventional or unusual. It addresses the societal pressure placed on physical appearances and the expectation to conform to certain standards of beauty. However, the song’s core message is one of self-love and acceptance, advocating for people of all ages and appearances to embrace their true selves and love themselves for who they are.
“It’s been a very long time. It seems like I cannot even remember what thoughts have been blocking me until now. One thing is certain, that I am truly happy and thankful.”
