Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon team up for a new SBS drama!
On October 16 KST, SBS announced that actors Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon will star as the main leads in the upcoming Friday-Saturday romantic comedy drama ‘Brave New World’ (literal title), which will be helmed by ‘Cheer up’ director Han Tae Seop.

‘Brave New World’ will follow the story of the love-hate relationship between Cha Se Gye, a brutal 21st-century chaebol, and Shin Seo Ri, a wicked woman from the Joseon era, how their worlds collide.
Heo Nam Jun will portray the role of Cha Se Gye, a cruel chaebol and the arrogant sole heir of the Cha Il Group. His life is turned upside down when he encounters Shin Seo Ri, a woman dressed in Joseon-era shaman attire. Heo Nam Jun is currently starring in an ongoing JTBC drama ‘A Hundred Memories’ alongside actresses Kim Da Min and Shin Ye Eun.
Lim Ji Yeon will play a dual role: an aspiring modern-day actress, Shin Seo Ri, who becomes possessed by Kang Dan Shim — a scandalous and dangerous woman from the Joseon Dynasty. After dying from poison, Kang Dan Shim’s spirit enters Shin Seo Ri’s body in the year 2026.
Before that, Lim Ji Yeon will return to the screen with a new romance drama with Lee Jung Jae titled ‘Nice To Not Meet You,’ which is scheduled to air on November 3 on tvN.
Fans are already excited to see the on-screen chemistry between Heo Nam Jun and Lim Ji Yeon, marking their first-ever lead project together.
‘Brave New World’ is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
