EVAN has officially embarked on his solo journey!
On June 22 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), EVAN stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist with the release of his debut digital single, ‘RIDE OR DIE.’ This highly anticipated debut marks the beginning of a new chapter in his career following his departure from ENHYPEN earlier this year.
‘RIDE OR DIE’ consists of two tracks with EVAN deeply involved in the creative process, contributing to both songwriting and composition.
The title track, ‘Ride or Die,’ showcases a more personal and mature side of EVAN, allowing him to express his artistic identity through both music and visual storytelling. It is an alternative rock song that captures the feeling of longing for someone, with emotions that expand uncontrollably, incorporating elements of hyperpop.
The B-side track, ‘Overflow,’ is an indie pop song that reveals a more vulnerable side of Evan’s musical direction. With reflective lyrics and a melancholic atmosphere, it captures the pain of heartbreak and the struggle to move on from a meaningful relationship.
