BTS member Suga recently celebrated his 28th birthday (March 9) and it was reportedly recently that he donated 100 million won to aid the treatment of pediatric cancer patients. Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital shared this news and its director, Cho Ji Heum, said, “Suga’s donation is touching, and we are grateful for it. We hope that this good influence will spread throughout society. We are proud of the BTS members who are enhancing national prestige through good stages. We hope you will continue to work as artists who are loved all over the world.” Suga said, “I hope this donation will help children who are not receiving treatment due to difficult family circumstances so that they can grow healthy and bright.”
The BTS boys are known globally not just for their notable work as idols but also as philanthropists. This is not the first time Suga donated on his birthday.
