BTS Suga‘s solo album D-DAY becomes a million-seller on the day of its release!
According to the Hanteo Chart, Agust D’s D-DAY officially broke the record for the highest 1st-day sales with 1.072 million copies. It is noted that there were around 154,000 copies of the Weverse version and about 918,000 copies of the conventional edition. D-day is also leading #1 on iTunes in 75 countries including India.
According to the record, Suga sold more than a million albums on the first day of release, becoming only the second solo artist in Hanteo history after Jimin, who previously held the record for the most first-day sales with his solo debut album FACE. He is the only other soloist to have accomplished this statistic to date.
SUGA released his album, D-DAY, along with the music video for the album’s lead hit, ‘Haegeum.’
