Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee to star in JTBC’s New Romance Drama ‘My Youth’.
On August 6, JTBC released the first teaser poster and teaser video for its highly anticipated series, ‘My Youth’. Starring Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee, the 12-episode drama is written by Park Si-hyun and directed by Lee Sang-yeob, known for his delicate touch in ‘Yumi’s Cells’.
‘My Youth’ tells the emotional story of Sun Woo-hae (Song Joong-ki), a former child star-turned-writer trying to live an ordinary life, and Sung Je-yeon (Chun Woo-hee), a driven team leader who unexpectedly crashes back into his peaceful world. Once each other’s dazzling first love at nineteen, their reunion years later rekindles forgotten feelings, hesitation, and warmth. Also featuring Lee Joo-myung and Seo Ji-hoon as the second lead couple.
The teaser begins with Woo-hae’s nostalgic narration, “Is there anyone who remembers their first season, that year, that first snow?” , Past and present then intertwine as youthful versions of the couple (played by Nam Da-reum and Jeon So-young) shyly board a bus in the rain, capturing the innocence of first love.
In the newly released poster, an old photograph tucked inside a diary hints at their unfinished story, paired with the caption: “I will always recognize you again and again,” heightening the anticipation around their fated reunion.

‘My Youth’ will premiere on September 5 at 8:50 PM KST (5:20 PM IST), airing two episodes every Friday on JTBC, with streaming available on Coupang Play in Korea and internationally on Viu and Rakuten Viki.
