Kim Min Ha is officially joining Lee Jun Ho in the tvN drama ‘Typhoon Company’ (literal title).
tvN’s upcoming drama ‘Typhoon Company’ has added ‘Pachinko’ actress Kim Min Ha to its cast in the lead. She will star opposite 2PM’s Junho in the drama.
‘Typhoon Company’ is set during the turbulent period of the IMF crisis of 1997 and follows CEO Kang Tae Poong (Lee Junho). Amid the IMF crisis, CEO Kang struggles to protect Typhoon Company, the small business his father left him.
Kim Min Ha will portray Oh Mi Seon, the bookkeeper at ‘Typhoon Company,’ who shoulders the burden of supporting her family while handling various tasks at the company. Her journey takes a hopeful turn when she meets Kang Tae Poong.
The drama will highlight the captivating chemistry between Oh Mi Seon and Kang Tae Poong as they navigate the challenges of the IMF crisis together.
Directed by Lee Na Jung, known for hits like ‘Fight for My Way,’ ‘Love Alarm,’ ‘Mine,’ and ‘See You in My 19th Life,’ ‘Typhoon Company’ promises to deliver a heartfelt story of survival, perseverance, resilience, and determination. With its compelling narrative and powerful performances, the drama aims to offer comfort and courage to those facing challenges in their own lives.
The drama is set to air in the second half of 2025.
