THE BOYZ member Sangyeon has announced his plans to enlist in the military.
On January 23, ONE HUNDRED, THE BOYZ’s new agency, announced that Sangyeon would be enlisting in the military in March. They stated, “Sangyeon applied to the Army Band and received his final acceptance notification from the Military Manpower Administration on January 23. His enlistment date is set for March 17, and there will be no special events held on the day of his entry into the training camp to ensure safety and prevent confusion.”

With this, Sangyeon, the leader of the group, would be the first member of THE BOYZ to enlist in the military. THE BOYZ is currently set to hold their fan concert ‘THE B LAND’ from January 31 to February 2 at the KPSO Dome in Seoul. The fan-con will also take place at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Gymnasium on February 22 and 23.
The group signed with ONE HUNDRED following the expiration of their contract with IST Entertainment in December 2024.
