Korean Consulate in Mumbai Announces 2024 K-Pop Contest

Get ready to unleash your inner K-Pop star because the Korean Consulate in Mumbai has  announced the much-awaited 2024 K-Pop Contest.

The contest kicks off with a submission window from May 23rd to June 26th. Aspiring K-Pop stars can submit their entries online during this period, adhering to the provided guidelines. Following submissions, entries will be evaluated from June 27th to July 1st, with results announced on July 2nd. The contest culminates in a thrilling final round held in Mumbai this October, with the exact venue to be confirmed soon.

To qualify for the competition, participants must be residents of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, or Goa, and must be above 16 years, ensuring a diverse and spirited array of participants reflective of K-Pop’s widespread allure across the region.

Participants are required to follow detailed video submission guidelines to ensure their entries are considered for evaluation. Videos should be recorded in landscape format, with the camera positioned centrally to capture the entire performance. Recordings should be tight full-shots, taken under bright lighting to ensure visibility. Importantly, videos must not be edited with special effects or merged with other videos from different angles.
