The Regional Rounds for the annual K-Pop Contest India 2022 saw many talented individuals displaying their amazing skills!
Organized by Korean Culture Guwahati Fan Club and hosted by Korean Culture Center India, the regional round for Guwahati was held on 29 May. The contestants battled fiercely to win the Vocal and Dance category respectively. The contest was accompanied by a giveaway, which increased not only the winner’s but also the audience’s zeal and thrill.

Winner: T-mour
Consisting of five diverse members, T-mour is the winner of Guwahati’s dance category regionals. The girls initially faced a lot of bottlenecks and despite their differences, they still stand together as one, “Our love and passion for K-Pop and dance, in general, was also one of the main factors that really kept us pushing through.”
2nd Runner Up: Pink Pear1s
Both crews expressed their joy and gratitude for the support and opportunity to showcase their talent. They also stated that they would work harder in the future.

Winner – Shraddha Sinha
Shraddha says, “I didn’t feel much pressure. To be honest, I’ve overcome my performance anxiety throughout the years and was actually quite excited about the contest because I just love to perform!”
1st Runner Up: Lakhipriya Moron
2nd Runner Up: Bristi Hazarika
Both the contestants expressed how good their experience was and their interest in Korean culture, which motivated them to do their best.

Expectations will keep us motivated to do better than the last time. There will also be a pressure of whether we will be able to present a better ‘Us’ or not. But we truly believe that we ,T_mour, will try our best to never let our supporters down and win the contest.
