K-Pop legend Rain is reportedly planning to debut new artists from his one man agency Rain Company!
According to a music industry insider, Rain intends to debut a male solo artist and is amidst a global project to produce a seven member boy group with both Korean and international members.
The source also reported that not only has Rain Company been holding auditions to scout new talents and passions but has also met with various broadcasting station representatives a few times regarding this
Soon after the reports, a source from within Rain Company confirmed that Rain is planning a global project to launch a male solo artist and multinational boy group and also added that preparations began late last year and that the company is currently in the stage of internal planning. The agency also revealed that the artists will be announced in late 2019 or 2020.
These artists will be Rain’s first to debut under Rain Company which was established back in 2015.
It will also mark Rain’s second foray into the world of music agencies and debuting idols after J. Tune Entertainment became defunct and merged with JYP Entertainment in 2013, while it’s subsidiary J. Tune Camp dissipated in 2017.
With Rain’s previous artists being the likes of MBLAQ, MadTown and Two X who were well known for their stage prescence and charisma, fans are definitely curious as to who will be debuting under Rain Company.
