TIME Magazine recognizes NCT Dream as one of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2018!
NCT Dream, the youth sub-unit group of NCT has made it to the TIME Magazine’s annual list of “25 Most Influential Teens Of 2018.” Every year TIME Magazine gives recognition across diverse fields, considering – global impact through social media and overall ability to drive news.
“With their synchronized choreography, bold aesthetic and dynamic performances bridging rap and song,seven-member K-pop group may appear similar to other rising boy bands in South Korea. But the group boasts a special feature: It consists only of members below the age of 20,” TIME asserts. “A big part of the group’s appeal is that they connect with teenagers, as teenagers.”
NCT Dream which is a sub unit of NCT, comprises of members Mark, Chenle, Jisung, Renjun, Haechan, Jeno and Jaemin, all of who are significantly teenagers. The group earned huge accolades this year with their EP titled “We Go Up” that released in September 2018. The mini album topped iTunes albums charts in 15 countries, entering Heatseekers Albums chart at number seven and charting at #5 on Billboard’s World Albums chart.
