BTS have undoubtedly had a great year with their ever rising international stardom,
but this just might be the icing on the cake – BTS have received their first ever Grammy nomination!
BTS’s third studio album ‘Love Yourself: Tear‘ (May 2018) is nominated in the Best Recording Package category for the 61st Grammy Awards (2019) which will be held on 10th February 2019 and aired on CBS.
The Best Recording Package category honors the album’s art director – HuskyFox.
Some fans are slightly miffed that the nomination is for the appearance of the album and not their music. However, it is also the first time a K-Pop act has ever been nominated for a Grammy award.
