1VERSE steps in with a striking debut!
On July 18 at 12 PM KST (8:30 AM IST), the multinational K-pop group 1VERSE kicked off their musical journey with their first single album, ‘The 1st Verse’. The track conveys 1VERSE’s identity and message, inspired by their individual experiences while showcasing their abilities and distinct charm.
‘The 1st Verse’ consists of two tracks. The lead track, ‘Shattered’, blends drums and bass with hip-hop energy and a catchy hook, showcasing the members’ powerful vocals and rap. Its music video mirrors the upbeat vibe, spotlighting their visuals and choreography with flashy lights, visual effects, and dynamic camera work.
The second track is the pre-release single ‘Multiverse’, a retro, bright pop song. The album also includes both the Korean and English versions of ‘Multiverse’.
Additionally, each member participated in the creation of the album. Member Hyuk contributed to writing and composing ‘Multiverse’, while Hyuk and Kenny participated in writing the title track ‘Shattered’. Aito helped create the choreography for ‘Multiverse’, establishing 1VERSE as a self-producing group.
1VERSE is a five-member group under SINGING BEETLE Entertainment. Notably, two of the members, Hyuk and Seok, are North Korean defectors, making 1VERSE the second group to include North Korean members. The other members include Aito, Nathan, and Kenny. Before their official debut, they pre-released the track ‘Multiverse’ on July 4.
