‘Tale of The Nine-Tailed’, tvN’s mega-hit drama of 2020 starring Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, and Kim Bum will be back soon.
tvN has confirmed that the show is being positively discussed for two more seasons. Kang Shin Hyo, who was the director of the hit series will be returning to take charge of the direction yet again.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to witness more Jo Bo Ah and Lee Dong Wook’s chemistry as Jo Bo Ah will not be returning to the show. The production team is currently looking for a new female lead to take up the role alongside Lee Dong Wook.
The second and third seasons are expected to be set between the Japanese colonial period and the Joseon Dynasty period respectively.
The hit series served us the mesmerizing love story of a 1000-year-old gumiho Lee Yeon and a bold TV producer Nam Ji-A. Along with the main leads, Lee Yeon’s half-brother Lee Rang was one of the characters who stole the limelight as well as our hearts.
Although viewers were not happy with the ending, ‘Tale Of The Nine-Tailed’ still crossed 5.8% average viewership ratings nationwide.
