Another collaboration for Yesung!
Super Junior‘s Yesung will be collaborating with Rapper Bumkey for the next SM STATION track ‘Carpet’. SM STATION is a digital music project by record label SM Entertainment. The collaboration is the 4th song of the project’s 3rd season and will be released on 10th January at 6pm KST.
Track ‘Carpet’ is a song with a controlled chorus and minimal composition, using only two instruments, a piano and a double bass to express the lonely atmosphere of a house during the dry winter season. Just like a carpet on the floor, the lyrics of the song will convey the message of comfort in a metaphorical way, giving a sense of healing to the listeners.
SM STATION’s Instagram account released a small video featuring Yesung introducing the collaboration, “Hello everyone, I’m Super Junior’s Yesung. I’ll be collaborating with Bumkey for the first SM Station track for January. We both are the same age so I hope that we can warm up everyone’s winter with ‘Carpet’. I hope everyone gives it a lot of love and also, happy new year.” The video also shows a short preview of the track.
