Summer Sonic Japan 2025 has dropped another lineup of artists set to grace their stage this year!
On April 4 at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST), Summer Sonic Japan unveiled the fifth lineup of artists for the upcoming music festival. This year’s lineup features an impressive mix of global stars and K-pop icons.

Among the standout newly revealed names are K-pop acts (G)I-DLE, NiziU, izna, THE ROSE, Lee Young Ji, and previously announced aespa, further amplifying the festival’s strong K-pop presence.
For (G)I-DLE, this marks their first appearance at Summer Sonic. The group is preparing a special stage just for the occasion, adding to the excitement surrounding their participation.
Headlining the festival are global icons Alicia Keys and FALL OUT BOY, both confirmed to perform at both locations. Other major names include Camila Cabello, The Prodigy, and more—making Summer Sonic 2025 an unforgettable event.
The festival is scheduled to take place on August 16 and 17, with events hosted at Tokyo’s ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe and Osaka’s Expo’ 70 Commemorative Park. While aespa will be performing only in Tokyo, all other K-pop and Korean artists will perform in both Tokyo and Osaka, giving fans in both cities the opportunity to experience their electrifying live shows.
